Who we are and what we do:
We investigate the performance of materials under irradiation.
We are experts in radiation chemistry.
Our main objectives are to determine the distributions of radiolysis products in various media under a range of environmental conditions, to understand the influence of radiolysis products on the behaviour of materials (in particular the corrosion of metals), and to investigate applications of radiation chemistry in materials science (for example, nanoparticle formation).
